Product Description:

Class B GPCRs는 두 개의 하위 패밀리로 구분됩니다: B1 secretin receptors와 B2 adhesion receptors입니다.

Secretin receptor subfamily의 구성원들은 큰 extracellular domain을 가지고 있으며, 다음과 같은 리간드와 결합합니다.

vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating peptide (PACAP), corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF), parathyroid hormone (PTH), growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), glucagon, glucagon-like peptide (GLP).

Adhesion receptor subfamily는 총 9개의 subclass로 이루어져 있으며, epidermal growth factor, cadherin, immunoglobulin domains와 같은 독특한 N-terminal motifs를 보유하고 있는 것이 특징입니다.
